Since the idea behind trompe l'oeil is to "fool the eye", these giclees should be mounted on a thin backing panel, trimmed to the edge of the image, and placed on the wall without any kind of border or frame. It would be inappropriate to sign and number the front of the work. Therefore, it comes with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity, which can be attached to the back or stored separately.
We put a protective finish on the giclee to help provide a long life and some protection against UV rays, although we can provide no guaranties, If you would like me to mount the giclee onto a lightweight Gatorboard or Ultraboard panel for you, please let me know in your email to me.
